Salary: £10 per hour

We have a range of shifts to fit around your home life, studies, social life and other commitments. We are looking for good-hearted people with varying levels of experience in care however experience is not necessary.

The Role

Your role will involve working in and around the City of Bedford, providing practical and emotional support to service users in the comfort of their own homes and their community.

You will work closely with senior community support workers, caring for adults with a range of conditions (dependent on your skills/experience) such as:

  • Dementia and Alzheimer’s
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Mental Health Conditions (Autism, Asperger’s and Personality Disorders)
  • Elderly-Related Issues

You’ll make a huge difference to someone’s daily life by aiding them in basic duties, such as shopping, household duties, basic personal care, and providing support to access the community.

All that we require from you is that you can get around easily therefore, a full UK driving license is preferred.

Salary: 22,000 – 24,500 per year

We have a new and exciting role for an experienced Domiciliary Care Coordinator to be part of a growing and successful team in Bedford.

Working closely with the Domiciliary Care management team, you will lead on all the various elements of Care compliance including but not limited to reviewing care plans and risk assessments, carrying out field-based spot checks, supporting and monitoring all aspects of staff compliance and audits on all care files, MARs sheets and carry out regular audits on progress notes, task completion, and duration of calls.

You will be expected to attend full induction training to ensure we get the best value from you and vice versa.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced professional who is positive, solution-focused and possesses great interpersonal skills. Being caring, compassionate, and aligned to our values are important to succeed in this role. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be extremely resilient and highly discreet when working with confidential and sensitive data. Candidates should hold either a QCF level 3 in health and social care or NVQ level 3 health and social care or equivalent (or committed to achieving this in 12 months).

Drivers will be preferred but non-drivers can apply.

Ideally, you would have experience and knowledge of working in a home care / social care setting and carrying out audits and supervision in a senior role.

This role is mainly office based but there will be some care calls as required.

You will be working for a supportive, dynamic cohesive team led by a very accessible management team that listens.
