The Role
Our client’s aim is to improve the lives of service users (SUs) by providing them with bespoke practical & emotional care & support, whilst empowering them to maintain their independence, self-worth, respect & dignity. The personal needs & goals of the SUs will be at the centre of everything you do!
Along with being responsible for the daily operations of the business & the delivery of competent & high-quality care, the care manager is also required to:
- Develop & maintain a good professional relationship with the SUs, their families, staff, the local community etc., ensuring their safety & health/wellbeing
- Regularly update care plans to ensure the SUs physical, social, psychological & emotional needs are recognised, assessed & met.
- Supervise & monitor your team as an approachable team leader
- Ensure satisfactory care standards/policies/procedures are implemented & throughout the care service
- Liaise with social care regulators/local authorities/professionals
- Conduct staff interviews, inductions, probation reviews, appraisals & meetings
- Manage the staff Rota, annual leave & sick requests
- Professionally report accidents, incidents, complaints & respond to emergencies
What we require from you:
