Sometimes the perfect job turns up at the perfect time and this could be the one! Ideally we’re looking for applicants who can start work in the next month, and who have some experience working with people who have mental health issues.
If, however, you’re lacking experience but looking for a job that makes a difference – and you’re ready for a challenge – training is available in post, so we’d love to hear from you.
Support Workers Required for Established MK Provider
Swarme is an online platform that matches carers to clients’ specific requirements. We’ve had an urgent request from an established care provider in Milton Keynes, seeking support workers to start work within the next month. Our client has a proven track record, is an established employer, and is rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
What Does a Support Worker Do?
One of the fulfilling things about the role of support worker is that it’s different every day. Your job is to help people living with mental health needs to live independent lives. An important aspect of your work is to support them emotionally and physically to achieve the goals they’ve set themselves, and ensure their well-being.
Your day-to-day work will be determined by the requirements of the person you are supporting. It may involve helping clients to carry out daily tasks, or teaching new skills. Sometimes the support needed will be emotional, but at all times you will be helping someone to live a fulfilled life.
